Canada will be governed by Canadians, for Canadians as a sovereign nation.
Policy Description:
A) The United Party of Canada will withdraw from all United Nations and post-nationalist initiatives that infringe on Canada’s sovereignty. These include:
United Nations (UN)
World Economic Forum (WEF)
World Health Organization (WHO)
Paris Climate Accord and any other restrictive global climate accords
These organizations impose policies that undermine Canadian sovereignty and independence, weaken our economy, and erode our national values. Canada’s laws must be made in Canada by Canadians.
B) The United Party of Canada will undertake a constitutional review and reform that will provide a peaceful and lawful pathway to establish sovereign provinces, reforging Canada as a constitutional republic.
This will place the people at the centre of a new nation, enshrining the inalienable rights that built this nation under the supremacy of God and the rule of law.
This will decentralize federal power and move it to the provinces and the people.
This will re-establish our nation as a nation that has peace and strength, whose wealth benefits the people of Canada and returns us to our legacy as a credible international partner for trade and security agreements.
Implementation Plan:
1. Immediate Termination of Agreements that Harm Canadian Interests
• Begin the legal and diplomatic process of exiting the UN, WHO, and WEF, ensuring that Canada is no longer subject to their mandates.
• Remove Canada’s signature from international agreements that infringe on sovereignty, such as the UN Migration Compact, which allows foreign entities to dictate our immigration policies.
• End participation in the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty, which could allow foreign authorities to dictate health mandates in Canada.
• Ban any government funding or taxpayer dollars from being allocated to these organizations.
• Exit global climate accords (such as the Paris Accord) that restrict Canada’s ability to develop its own natural resources.
• End any trade agreements that force Canada to comply with foreign environmental, Taxation, or regulatory standards that put Canadian businesses at a disadvantage.
• Repeal policies derived from WEF recommendations, such as digital ID programs or central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), which threaten personal privacy and financial freedom.
2. Reinforce Canadian Sovereignty in Law & Governance
• Legally establish that no foreign entity can override Canadian laws.
• Require all government employees, elected and appointed officials, and public servants to declare their loyalty to Canada and Canadians over foreign obligations.
• Investigate and prosecute any foreign government or foreign organization that interferes on Canadian soil with the Canadian government, elected and appointed officials, or elections.
3. Strengthen National Identity & Independence
• Mandate that all foreign aid spending be reassessed to ensure it directly benefits Canada’s strategic interests rather than fulfilling international agendas.
• Launch a “Canadian First” initiative, prioritizing Canadian-made products and industries over foreign imports.
• Review and eliminate any foreign-backed lobbying efforts that seek to impose policies detrimental to Canadian interests.
Undertake a constitutional review to return Canada to the way it was intended to be: a sovereign people with strong provinces establishing a strong nation.
Utilize our natural resources to restore Canada’s economic prosperity while protecting our natural environment.
Policy Description:
Canada is one of the most resource-rich nations in the world, yet our industries have been choked by overregulation, carbon taxes, and globalist climate policies. The United Party of Canada will scrap all net-zero restrictions, eliminate emissions caps, and revive our energy and resource sectors. By cutting corporate taxes, streamlining regulatory approvals, and aggressively expanding infrastructure, we will restore Canada’s position as a global energy and resources powerhouse.
Implementation Plan:
1. Cancel the Net-Zero Agenda and Remove Emissions Caps
• Withdraw from international climate agreements such as the Paris Accord, which unfairly penalize Canada while allowing major polluters like China and India to continue increasing emissions.
• Eliminate all federal emissions reduction targets and carbon taxes that drive up energy costs for Canadians and destroy competitiveness.
• Implement balanced economic growth with responsible resource development while stewarding our resources and environment without sacrificing our industries to radical climate policies.
2. Expand Pipelines and Energy Infrastructure
• Fast-track the completion of key energy projects, including the Trans Mountain Expansion and LNG export terminals, which have been delayed by government interference and activist opposition.
• Repeal Bill C-69 (the “No More Pipelines Bill”) to ensure new projects are approved quickly and based on economic and engineering merit rather than ideological bias.
• Support a cross-Canada energy corridor to efficiently transport oil, gas, and electricity from production centers to consumers and export terminals.
• Introduce pro-business policies that encourage investment and job creation in the energy sector.
3. Reduce Corporate Taxes and Attract Investment
• Lower corporate tax rates to match or undercut the U.S. and global competitors, making Canada an attractive destination for investment in energy, mining, and manufacturing.
•Provide tax incentives and depreciation allowances for companies investing in resource development.
• Remove capital gains taxes on new energy projects to spur development and increase private sector involvement in growing Canada’s resource sector.
4. Cut Bureaucratic Red Tape in Mining, Drilling, and Agriculture
• Reduce federal environmental assessment timelines from years to months, ensuring quicker project approvals and preventing unnecessary delays.
• End restrictions on oil sands development and allow the sector to grow with modern technology that reduces environmental impact while maximizing output.
• Simplify agricultural regulations to protect farmers from excessive government intervention, allowing them to focus on feeding Canadians and exporting to global markets.
5. Maximize Arctic Development – Expand Resource Extraction in the North
• Establish a National Arctic Development Strategy to expand oil, gas, and mineral extraction in the Canadian Arctic.
• Russia has aggressively expanded its Arctic oil and gas production, securing economic dominance in the region. Canada needs to do the same.
• Invest in Arctic infrastructure, including deep-water ports, icebreakers, and roads, to support year-round resource extraction.
• Assert sovereignty over Arctic resources by increasing military and economic presence, ensuring that foreign nations (China, Russia) do not exploit Canada’s North.
No more unfair wealth transfers—every province must be responsible for its own economic future.
Policy Description:
For decades, Canada’s equalization payment system has been a punitive redistribution scheme, unfairly transferring billions from productive provinces—especially Alberta and Saskatchewan— to provinces that refuse to develop their natural resources or reform their economies. This outdated system punishes success and rewards failure, keeping some provinces dependent on federal handouts while overburdening taxpayers in wealthgenerating regions. By ending federal interference, empowering provinces to control their own resources, and eliminating politically motivated wealth transfers, we will restore fairness to Confederation and allow every province to thrive based on its own economic merits.
Implementation Plan:
1. Abolish the Current Equalization Formula – Incentivize Economic Self-Sufficiency
• Immediately repeal the existing equalization formula, ending the federal government’s ability to redistribute provincial wealth without consent. In 2023-24, Alberta contributed billions to equalization while receiving nothing in return despite economic hardships from the energy downturn.
• Introduce a constitutional amendment to ensure permanent elimination of forced equalization payments, preventing future federal governments from reintroducing them. Quebec has received equalization payments every year since the program’s inception, despite having abundant natural resources it refuses to develop.
• Replace equalization with a system that rewards economic growth and resource development, ensuring that no province can remain a “have-not” indefinitely.
2. Restore Provincial Control Over Natural Resources
• Ensure full provincial jurisdiction over natural resources, removing Ottawa’s ability to interfere in provincial resource development. Section 92A of the Constitution Act (1982) already grants provinces control over natural resources, but federal policies such as Bill C-69 (the “No More Pipelines” bill) have undermined this right. We will repeal Bill C-69.
• End federal regulatory overreach that disproportionately affects resource-rich provinces like Alberta and Saskatchewan. Ottawa’s carbon tax and emissions caps target Alberta’s oil industry while ignoring industries in other provinces.
• Allow provinces to collect their own revenues without federal interference, ensuring they can benefit directly from their industries instead of being taxed by Ottawa.
3. End Federal Discrimination Against Alberta and Saskatchewan
• Ensure fair representation for Alberta and Saskatchewan in federal decision-making by advocating for Senate reform and equal provincial representation in federal institutions. Quebec receives 78 seats in the House of Commons compared to Alberta’s 34, despite Alberta having a growing economy and population. We will change this.
• End federal policies that deliberately suppress the energy sector while subsidizing failing industries in other provinces. The federal government has provided billions in bailouts to Quebec’s Bombardier while blocking Alberta’s energy development.
• Guarantee that no province is forced to fund another’s inefficiency, ensuring that every province stands on its own economic strength.
We will rebuild Canada’s military, protect our borders, and defend the Arctic against foreign threats.
Policy Description:
Canada’s national security has been dangerously neglected. Decades of underfunding have left our armed forces underequipped and, understaffed and unable to defend our country effectively. The current government has prioritized foreign-led military initiatives over protecting Canadian sovereignty, leaving our borders exposed and our Arctic vulnerable to growing Russian and Chinese military expansion.
We will rebuild the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) with a massive investment in personnel, equipment, and infrastructure, ensuring that Canada has a military capable of protecting our borders and asserting sovereignty over our territory. We will fortify our northern defences, deploy a specialized Border Protection Task Force to stop illegal immigration, illegal drugs, illegal guns and drug components, and human trafficking, and ensure that Canada’s military serves Canadian interests.
Implementation Plan:
1. Massive Military Investment – Rebuild the Canadian Armed Forces
• Increase military spending to meet NATO’s 2% GDP target and ensure the CAF has the resources necessary to defend Canada. Currently, Canada spends approximately 1.3% of GDP on defence—one of the lowest levels in NATO. We will meet and exceed the 2% commitment to ensure a capable military.
• Modernize outdated equipment, including tanks, fighter jets, naval ships, and Arctic patrol vehicles.
• Our CF-18 fighter jets, in service since the 1980s, are long overdue for replacement. We will accelerate the acquisition of next-generation fighter aircraft to protect Canadian airspace.
• Expand recruitment and training programs to increase military personnel levels, ensuring the CAF is fully staffed and combat-ready. The CAF has faced severe recruitment shortages, with the army 10,000 troops below its target. We will launch a national recruitment campaign and increase incentives for service members.
2. Defend the Arctic – Assert Canada’s Sovereignty
• Establish permanent, full-time military bases in the Arctic to counter Russian and Chinese
territorial expansion. Russia has more than 50 Arctic military bases, while Canada has virtually no permanent presence. We will establish well-equipped military installations in Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon.
• Expand the Canadian Coast Guard’s Arctic capabilities, ensuring year-round patrols and surveillance.
• Currently, Canada lacks icebreakers capable of operating year-round. We will invest in a modern Arctic fleet to protect our waters.
• Enhance Arctic early warning and missile defence systems, working with NORAD to detect and respond to threats.
3. Border Protection Task Force – Secure Canada’s Borders
• Deploy a specialized Border Protection Task Force to prevent illegal crossings and human trafficking. Roxham Road, a notorious illegal border crossing in Quebec, saw tens of thousands of illegal entries before being shut down. We will ensure all such crossings remain permanently closed.
• Increase funding and staffing for the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to ensure strict enforcement of immigration laws.
• Implement advanced surveillance technology at all border crossings, including drones, motion sensors, and biometric verification. We will inspect containers in Canadian ports more stringently.
4. Reject Globalist Military Directives – Serve Canadian Interests First
• Withdraw Canada from UN-led military interventions that do not directly serve our national security. Canadian troops have been sent on UN peacekeeping missions that do nothing to protect Canada. We will prioritize deployments that serve Canadian interests.
• End foreign-funded influence in Canada’s military decision-making.
• Strengthen military ties with allies while maintaining full sovereignty over Canada’s defence policy.
We will restore the rights of law-abiding gun owners by repealing all Liberal gun control laws and ensuring that Canadians can defend themselves and their property.
Policy Description:
The Liberal government has spent years attacking law-abiding firearm owners while doing nothing to combat real crime. We will repeal all firearm restrictions introduced by the Liberal government, end the bans on legally owned handguns and semi-automatic rifles, and dismantle the costly gun registry and buyback program. We will re-establish in law the right of Canadians to protect themselves, their families, others and their property. Our government will stand with lawful gun owners and ensure that law-abiding citizens are never treated like criminals.
Implementation Plan:
1. Full Repeal of Liberal Gun Bans
• We will take immediate action and Introduce legislation to repeal all firearm prohibitions enacted by the Liberal government. This includes reversing the ban on handguns and semi-automatic rifles, eliminating arbitrary restrictions on magazine capacity, and restoring the rights of legal firearm owners.
• We will take the approach where responsible citizens have the right to own and carry firearms with proper training and licensing.
• We will introduce legislation making firearms personal property.
• Within the first 100 days of forming the government, we will introduce a comprehensive firearm rights restoration bill.
2. Scrap the Gun Buyback Program
• Cancel all funding allocated to the firearm buyback program, redirecting those resources toward police anti-gang and border security initiatives.
• Ensure that any data collected on firearm owners through buyback registration is immediately deleted to protect privacy rights.
• Amend the Firearms Act to prevent future governments from reinstating similar buyback schemes without parliamentary oversight.
3. Defend Self-Defense Rights
• We will amend the Criminal Code to explicitly state that Canadians have the right to use reasonable force, including firearms, to defend their life, family, and property.
• Provide training and guidance for law enforcement and judicial bodies to ensure self-defense cases are handled fairly, protecting law-abiding citizens from prosecution.
• Make laws that ensure Canadians do not face criminal charges for defending themselves or their loved ones.
4. Severe Punishments for Criminal Gun Use
• Re-introduce mandatory minimum prison sentences for illegal firearm possession, trafficking, and gun-related violent crimes.
• Introduce specialized anti-gang enforcement units with enhanced investigative authority to target organized crime firearm smuggling.
• Expand the powers of the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) to conduct stricter inspections on firearms trafficked from outside Canada while ensuring legal imports for Canadian retailers are streamlined.
5. Respect Rural and Indigenous Firearm Rights
• Ensure hunters, farmers, ranchers, and rural residents have the right to own and use firearms for protection against predators and criminal threats.
• Work with Indigenous communities to ensure their historical and cultural use of firearms for hunting and protection is respected and free from government interference.
Canada’s immigration system must work for Canadians.
Policy Description:
Uncontrolled immigration, lax border enforcement, and abuse of Canada’s visa system have led to housing shortages, wage suppression, and pressure on our healthcare and education systems, which have resulted in real social and economic hardship for many Canadians. The United Party of Canada will end mass migration, deport illegal immigrants, implement a strict merit-based system, and require foreign students to be financially independent.
Additionally, we will end birthright citizenship for non-Canadian parents and shut down illegal border crossings like Roxham Road, ensuring that Canada’s immigration policies serve Canadian citizens first.
Implementation Plan:
1. Deport All Illegal Immigrants and Those on Expired Visas
• Launch a nationwide deportation program targeting illegal migrants, visa overstays, and failed asylum seekers.
• Expand Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) enforcement with increased funding and staff to remove illegal immigrants.
• Implement a mandatory visa tracking system to ensure foreign visitors leave when required.
• Revoke all taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants, including healthcare and social assistance, to deter illegal entry.
• Discourage illegal migrants from staying by restricting access to jobs, housing, and services.
2. Implement a Merit-Based Immigration System Similar to Successful Models Worldwide
• End mass migration quotas and replace them with a skills-based points system prioritizing highly skilled workers who integrate successfully.
• Introduce strict language and cultural competency requirements, ensuring that new immigrants can speak English or French and uphold Canadian values.
• Prioritize Canadian job market needs, reducing immigration numbers if unemployment rises among Canadians.
• End chain migration by limiting family sponsorships to immediate family members only, spouses and minor children.
3. End Birthright Citizenship for Children of Non-Canadians
• Reform citizenship laws so that children born in Canada to non-citizen parents will no longer automatically receive citizenship.
• Require at least one parent to be a citizen or legal permanent resident for a child to obtain Canadian citizenship.
• Close loopholes used by birth tourism operations, where foreigners travel to Canada solely to give birth and gain automatic citizenship for their children.
4. Require Financial Independence for Foreign Students – No More Work Permits
• Eliminate work permits for foreign students, ensuring that they do not compete with Canadian students and workers for jobs.
• Require full financial proof of resources before granting a student visa. International students must prove they can cover tuition and living expenses without working before entering Canada.
• Crack down on fraudulent student visa mills that abuse the system to bring in low-skilled workers disguised as students.
• Limit post-graduation work permits to only the most highly skilled graduates in fields where Canada faces labour shortages.
5. Shut Down Illegal Border Crossings and Enforce Secure Borders
• Close Roxham Road and any other illegal border entry points, redirecting all asylum claims through proper legal channels.
• Deploy military personnel and border security forces at key illegal crossing points to prevent further illegal migration.
• Introduce a strict asylum reform policy that fast-tracks deportation of fraudulent refugee claimants and prevents repeat applications.
Strong, healthy families are the bedrock of Canadian society. Our tax system will support and encourage families who are having and raising children. Parental authority will be established in law. Parents, not the government, will raise their children. Canada must embrace the culture and value of life by banning abortion (except to save the mother’s life) and MAiD and promoting adoption and palliative care as well as supporting vulnerable people.
Policy Description:
Canada has become a nation where unborn children, the disabled, and the elderly are treated as disposable. With abortion legal at all stages of pregnancy and the rapid expansion of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), human life has been devalued. The United Party of Canada will completely ban abortion (except to save the mother’s life) and MAiD, remove all taxpayer funding for these procedures, and promote adoption, palliative care and life-affirming alternatives. Free speech will also be restored by ending “bubble zones” that prevent pro-life advocacy in public spaces.
The United Party of Canada will implement a family-based tax structure, treating households as a single taxable unit with deductions and credits that incentivize having children.
Canada’s children are under attack from radical gender ideology, schools hiding information from parents, and government overreach into family life. The United Party of Canada will completely ban medical gender transitions for minors, repeal Bill C-4, prohibit gender ideology in schools without parental consent, and protect female-only spaces. We will restore the integrity of Canadian government institutions by ensuring that only the Canadian and provincial/territorial flags are flown in schools and government offices—removing activist and political symbols from public institutions.
Implementation Plan:
1. Introduce a Total Abortion Ban and Eliminate MAiD
• Draft and pass federal legislation prohibiting abortion at all stages of pregnancy, except in cases where the mother’s life is at immediate risk.
• Outlaw Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) for all individuals, including those with disabilities, mental illness, and the elderly and funding palliative care and other appropriate supports.
• Withdraw all public healthcare funding from abortion providers and redirect those funds to maternal care and adoption services.
2. Expand Funding for Crisis Pregnancy Centers
• Redirect government funding from abortion clinics to pregnancy resource centers that provide real support to women in crisis.
• Increase funding for housing, financial aid, and parenting support programs for mothers who choose life.
3. Implement a National Adoption Program
• Streamline the adoption process to make it faster and more affordable for Canadian families.
• Provide financial incentives for adoptive parents, including tax credits and grants for families willing to adopt.
• Develop partnerships with religious and non-profit organizations to place children in stable, loving homes.
• Give generous tax breaks and direct financial aid to families adopting siblings in need.
4. End “Bubble Zones” and Restore Free Speech
• Repeal all laws restricting pro-life advocacy around abortion clinics and hospitals.
• Protect the right to protest and counsel women considering abortion, ensuring that public sidewalks remain free speech zones.
5. Repeal Bill C-4 and Restore Parental Authority Over Education and Medical Care
• Immediately repeal Bill C-4, which criminalizes parents, teachers, faith leaders, and therapists who help children overcome gender confusion.
• Introduce a Parental Rights Act, ensuring that parents have the final say in their children’s education, healthcare, and upbringing.
• Under parental rights, ban schools from discussing sexual orientation and gender identity with young children without parental approval.
6. Ban All Medical Gender Treatments and Surgeries for Minors Under the Criminal Code
• Outlaw puberty blockers, hormone replacement therapy, and sex-change surgeries for anyone under the age of 18.
• Make it a criminal offence for doctors, teachers, or activists to promote medical transitioning to minors.
• Protect medical professionals who refuse to perform or support gender transition treatments for minors.
7. Protect Female Sports and Female-Only Spaces
• Legally prohibit biological males from competing in female sports at all levels, from school athletics to professional leagues.
• Mandate that female bathrooms, changing rooms, and shelters be protected as biological female-only spaces.
• Introduce strict penalties for institutions that allow men into female-only areas.
• Remove biological males from women’s prisons and sports competitions.
8. Ban Gender Indoctrination in Schools Without Parental Consent
• Prohibit schools from teaching gender ideology, pronoun changes, or transitioning without explicit parental approval.
• Remove funding from any school that promotes gender ideology to minors without consent.
• Pass legislation where schools must follow a government-approved, parent-focused curriculum, preventing ideological infiltration.
9. Ensure Only National and Provincial Flags Are Flown at Government Buildings
• Ban the display of political or activist flags at all government offices, schools, and public institutions.
• Mandate that only the Canadian flag and the provincial flag of the region be allowed on government property.
• Protect government employees from being forced to use gender pronouns, recognizing that Canada legally recognizes only two genders: male and female.
10. Family-Based Taxation
• Shift from an individual-based tax system to a family-based tax model, where families are taxed as a unit. This means households with children receive higher deductions and credits, reducing the overall tax burden on parents.
• Introduce “Family Tax Allowances,” allowing parents to deduct a portion of their income tax for each child they have, scaling up for larger families.
• Families with four or more children pay minimal income tax, incentivizing larger families.
11. Direct Financial Incentives for Childbirth
• Implement a cash incentive program for families having multiple children, a “Baby Bonus.” Canadian families would receive a lump sum payment for each child born, with additional benefits for larger families.
• Introduce interest-free home loans for married couples, where loans are forgiven after the birth of four or more children.
12. Support for Stay-at-Home Parenting
• Provide tax breaks and financial incentives for families where one parent chooses to stay home to raise children.
• Expand income splitting to ensure families with one income earner are not unfairly taxed at higher rates.
• Introduce childcare stipends for parents who care for their children at home instead of using daycare programs.
13. Prioritize Affordable Housing for Families
• Introduce policies that prioritize family units in housing initiatives, ensuring affordable homes for parents raising children.
• Allocate land for affordable housing developments specifically designed for families.
• Provide subsidized mortgage rates for young married couples.
