Going into politics was never Melanie’s ambition, but after seeing the erosion of our sovereignty, rights, and freedoms in our nation, she could no longer keep silent.

Melanie is a first-generation Canadian who was raised in Oxford County. Her business in Woodstock was called Body Kinetics, and many may know her as Melanie Folkema. She served as a youth leader for many years. She has started a house of prayer called the Desire of Nations, featuring the Mustang Army, and is actively involved with prayer teams and ministries that are catalysts for Godly change.

Melanie is running to be a voice for change, to bring hope, and to see the supremacy of God and the rule of law return to the foundation of our nation.
