Karen Bourdeau is a retired teacher who worked as an ESL Instructor for both the Ottawa Catholic School Board and the Ottawa Carleton District School Board until 2021. Before her teaching career, she was a realtor with the Ottawa Real Estate Board from 2005 to 2014. Karen has experience in journalism as well; she served as a journalist and editor for the Prescott-Russell News, where she reported on local news. Most recently, she held the position of editor with Stand Up Canada.

Her education includes a B.A. in Psychology/Sociology from Carleton University and a Teaching Certificate from Algonquin College.

Karen is married and has two daughters and three grandchildren. As a Christian, Karen has always been a supporter of Pro-Life and Pro-Family causes. She looks forward to representing you!
